Empowering Children with Cerebral Palsy

United Cerebral Palsy was created in 1957 by families that had children with cerebral palsy. Through advocacy and the provision of direct services, UCP continues to meet its mission of advancing the independence, productivity and full citizenship for people with disabilities.

65% of the people UCP serves have a disability other than cerebral palsy. The current array of services has grown from day care to a comprehensive network of habilitation/rehabilitation serving over 600 physically challenged individuals each year. UCP provides adult habilitation, autism waiver, work activity, community living arrangement and therapeutic services.
